About Jonathan
Born, raised, and residing in Greenville County; I am one of the few locals left! I graduated from Riverside High School in 2001 and continued to attend Furman University on a Football Scholarship. Playing as a defensive back, I was fortunate enough to play on two Southern Conference Championship teams and be a part of the 2001 Div-1AA National Championship in my freshman year. I also ran on the Furman Track team and won an All-Southern Conference award in the 4x100 meter relay.
With my degree in Sociology, I went back to Riverside High in 2006 to work in the Special Needs Program alongside coaching varsity football and track. After two inspiring years at Riverside, I started a very successful career in operations management with Enterprise Car Rental.
In 2009, I "out-punted my coverage" and married my wife, Tania. Together, we have two daughters and a son. Spending time with my family is my favorite thing to do. We enjoy the mountains and spending time outdoors together.
Further promotion at Enterprise would have involved leaving the town I love. So, in 2014 I changed careers and joined my parents on The MacDonald Home Team at C. Dan Joyner Realtors. As part of The MacDonald Home Team, we were consistently in the top 5 teams within the company. By staying focused on the pillars of Customer Service and Expertise, we have seen fantastic growth year after year and an ever increasing list of completely satisfied clients. I have a passion for all things related to real estate. From buying and selling, to building and investing, I truly enjoy growing my level of expertise in all areas of Real Estate.
In 2022, Kirk Smith and I founded The JK Group at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices-C Dan Joyner Realtors. Our focus remains on providing top-tier Service and Expertise.
